早在同行前辈还处于较为舒服的“坐贾”等客来模式时，东方雨虹以“吃得苦、霸得蛮”的意志，靠走出去“行商”异军突起。天涯海畔，南州北县，竹杖芒鞋，粗缯大布，客户在哪里，东方雨虹人就在哪里。用脚步丈量市场，用汗水滴灌业绩，东方雨虹“以客户为中心”的理念最朴素的释义就是为难自己，以成就客户。
我们始终是客户的配角。做工是东方雨虹的本分，把辛苦活留给自己，把不便和困难留给自己，让客户永无后顾之忧地使用东方雨虹的产品和服务是我们的天职。必须汗流满面才得以糊口，必要的劳碌奔波以成全客户的舒适，东方雨虹愿做客户的挑山工、马前卒。己欲立而立人，己欲达而达人，客户的赢面就是我们的希望，积客户之大胜为我们的小胜。
我们还需离客户再近一点。东方雨虹“以客户为中心”的价值体系中，如果不是为客户着想，那么思考毫无意义；如果资源配置不是围绕客户的需求，那么管理乱无章法；如果奋斗的目标不是为客户和社会创造价值，那么长期主义将无的放矢。
刀刃向内成就客户。不讲任何条件，客户永远是对的。如果客户错了，那务必遵守前一句。得客户则四海春风，得市场如九天时雨，成就客户即是成就自我，为难自己，毫不为难。
